The CLUB ESSE POSADA is situated directly by the sea, 500 meters from the center of Palau, in front of the Maddalena Park. The resort is divided into two sections: "Sa Posada," with its 116 rooms designed in a strict Sardinian style, and "Sa Marina" with 55 spacious rooms located on the slope towards the sea, 50 meters from the equipped beach, available without any extra charge. "Sa Posada" in the Sardinian language means "place of rest" and fully conveys the ancient sense of hospitality in Sardinia, based on time and respect.

“Esse Up” Holiday:
A formula designed for guests who love to pamper themselves with a few extra comforts during their stay. Includes: Welcome Lunch (possibility of free lunch on the day of arrival); assigned restaurant table; beach umbrella with one sunbed and one deckchair from the 3rd row onwards for the entire stay; free beach towel rental with daily change.

“Esse Plus” Holiday:
Includes all the benefits of the “Esse Up” formula, plus: priority check-in (fast lane) and room delivery by 2:00 p.m.; late check-out (possibility to keep the room until 2:00 p.m. on departure day); complimentary initial minibar supply; beach umbrella with one sunbed and one deckchair from the 2nd row onwards for the entire stay; Lunch Around — possibility to have lunch at any Club Esse property in Sardinia, subject to reservation and availability.

Restaurant – Club Esse Formula:
Our buffet-style service allows guests the utmost freedom and creativity in combining flavors and portions to suit their personal tastes. Each day features regional and international dishes, with a wide selection of appetizers, first and second courses, side dishes, authentic Italian pizza, fruit, and desserts. Themed evenings and a traditional Sardinian dinner are also included. Still microfiltered water, house white, red and rosé wine, and light beer are always included at lunch and dinner, with no extra charge. A selection of local wines is also available.

Food Intolerances: Due to the structural characteristics of our kitchens, we cannot guarantee the total absence of contamination for any intolerance, nor can we adapt menus for individual allergies. However, our buffet includes foods naturally free from gluten, lactose, and eggs, as well as a range of gluten-free products.
For breakfast: toasted rusks, biscuits, rice cakes, sliced bread, packaged snacks, jams, muesli.
For lunch and dinner: packaged pasta, bread, and desserts.

For children: Every day, RistoMini “Hero’s Banquet” offers a special menu for kids, who can enjoy their meals together with the “Hero Camp” staff in a dedicated area.
Baby Feeding Area: Equipped and accessible 24/7 for parents with children up to 3 years old. It provides fresh, selected basic foods such as meat/vegetable/fish broth, vegetable purée, baby pasta, grated cheese, whole and semi-skimmed UHT milk, yogurt, cheese portions, and seasonal fruit. Baby food jars are not available.

Beach:
Sandy beach equipped with umbrellas, deckchairs, and sunbeds (subject to availability), as well as entertainment activities and Hero Camp. Just 200 meters away, “Bau Bau Palau” — a municipal beach reserved for dogs and their owners.

Entertainment and Activities:
Club Esse Posada is a large resort with a true club atmosphere. The property features spacious, functional areas for all activities, including two pools, the beach, the piano bar, and the theater. The entertainment team, engaging yet never intrusive, accompanies guests throughout their vacation with a rich program of shows, sports, and leisure activities that combine relaxation and fun in a joyful, friendly atmosphere. All services are available from 30/05 to 30/09; outside these dates, a lighter animation program is offered.

Children and Teens:
Pink Hero, the friendly penguin mascot, welcomes young guests with fun, creative, and sports activities while promoting environmental awareness.
Hero Camp (ages 3–12, divided by age groups) operates from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with qualified staff organizing daily themed games, nature exploration, workshops, sports, theater, and music.
Young Club (ages 13–18) offers opportunities for socializing and sharing experiences through sports tournaments, creative workshops, and age-appropriate events.

“Esse Card”:
Mandatory service card from 30/05 to 29/09, payable on site, for guests aged 3 and above. Includes access to pools and the equipped beach (umbrellas, sunbeds, and deckchairs subject to availability), Hero Camp and Young Club activities, fitness, aquagym, five-a-side football, group dancing, and evening shows. During other periods, entertainment and activities are reduced.

Infant Card:
Mandatory from 6 months to 3 years, payable on site. Includes cot (on request) and access to the baby feeding area (basic foods provided), open 24/7.

Important: Guests are required to wear a colored wristband for the entire duration of their stay to access the resort services.

Pets:
One small pet per room (max 20 kg) is allowed, upon request at the time of booking, with restrictions in common areas and the restaurant. Mandatory supplement payable on site. Just 200 meters away, “Bau Bau Palau” is a public dog-friendly beach with dedicated services and free sea access.

Arrivals and Departures:
Check-in after 4:00 p.m. and check-out by 10:00 a.m. (stays begin with dinner).
Arrival and departure days: Tuesday and/or Friday.
Children’s ages are always considered as not yet completed at the start of the stay (valid ID required).

Rooms

Accommodation: The 141 rooms are distributed between the main building and the “Marina” area closer to the sea. They are available as double, twin, triple, and quadruple rooms (some with bunk beds). All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, independent air conditioning, mini-fridge, TV, and safe.

“Balcony” Rooms — located exclusively in the “Sa Posada” area — are available with a supplement and include either a balcony (on upper floors) or a patio (on the ground floor), both furnished with chairs.

Family Rooms, located in the “Sa Marina” area, consist of a double bedroom and a living room with a double sofa bed (in some cases with bunk beds) and a private bathroom — an ideal solution for families. Rooms for guests with disabilities are also available.

  • Pets: one per room allowed (max 20 kg), not permitted in common areas. €15 per day, payable on site. Pets are welcome at Bau Bau Palau Beach, located 100 m from the property.

  • ESSE UP: €25 per room per day, payable through the agency.

  • ESSE PLUS: on request, €40 per room per day, payable through the agency.

  • ESSE CARD: mandatory from 30/05 to 30/09, for guests aged 3 and above, €7 per person per day, payable on site.

  • Tourist Tax: if applied by the local municipality, it must be paid directly at the hotel in cash.

Pets Policy
Pets allowed: one small pet per room (max 20 kg), with restrictions in common areas and a mandatory fee of €10 per day. Located 200 meters away is "Bau Bau Palau": a municipal beach with customized services and free access to the sea for all our four-legged friends.
Cancellation policy

BOOKING CONFIRMATION: Before confirming the reservation and making the payment, please verify the accuracy of all the details provided in the confirmation, paying special attention to the names, hotel services, start and end dates of the stay, and related transportation (airplane, bus, ferry).

IDENTITY DOCUMENTS: All passengers, including minors and infants, must possess a valid identity document.

CHILD DISCOUNTS: The booking confirmation includes the children’s dates of birth, specifying day, month, and year. Please check this information carefully. Correct birth dates are essential for applying discounts or free stays related to the children’s age. For example, if a child is free up to the age of eight but exceeds this age at the time of check-in, the standard rates will apply, and the difference will be charged.

PETS: Guests traveling with pets must report their presence at the time of booking so that this information can be included in the confirmation. Late notifications may result in penalties or management fees if the selected property does not allow pets.
Furthermore, for ferry travel, a pet on board supplement of Euro 35.00 applies, and pets are not allowed in cabins, which are available on request only. The pet cabin costs vary depending on the period and the ferry company.

FERRY TRAVEL: For trips departing by ferry, vehicle details (type, model, and license plate) will be shown directly on the booking confirmation and subsequently on the travel ticket. The ferry package includes:
• For daytime crossings: accommodation in deck passage for all routes.
• For overnight crossings: accommodation in reclining seat for all routes. Children up to 4 years old (infants) cannot occupy a seat.
• Round-trip vehicle transport (maximum length 5 meters; maximum height 2.20 m for Moby/Tirrenia and 1.90 m for GNV/Grimaldi). Exceeding these limits will incur supplements depending on the company.
• Cabin accommodation (if purchased): includes 4 beds; for families of 5 people, accommodation is provided with 4 beds in the cabin + 1 deck passage.
Please note that any communication or modification of vehicle details after the confirmation has been issued will result in a change fee of Euro 50.00, plus any reissue costs for the ticket.
Ferry companies, for technical, organizational, operational, or force majeure reasons, reserve the right to make changes to the ship schedules, including times, routes, and type of vessel used.
Such changes will be promptly communicated via SMS to the contact numbers provided at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE: The cancellation insurance is optional and subject to an extra fee. It must be requested at the time of booking and cannot be added later.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: Please note that any special requests indicated in the booking cannot be guaranteed, and telephone requests will not be considered.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BOOKINGS UNTIL 28/02:
Cancellations up to 30 working days before departure: no penalty
From 29 to 21 working days before departure: 25% of the total amount
From 20 to 11 working days before departure: 50%
From 10 to 3 working days before departure: 75%
From 2 to 0 days before departure: 100%

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BOOKINGS FROM 01/03:
Cancellations up to 30 working days before departure: 10% of the total amount
From 29 to 21 working days before departure: 25%
From 20 to 11 working days before departure: 50%
From 10 to 3 working days before departure: 75%
From 2 to 0 days before departure: 100%

For cancellations made within the terms indicated above, for the amounts not subject to penalty, a travel voucher will be issued, valid for 12 months from the date of issue, which does not require acceptance by the recipient.

In the event of late arrival, early departure, or a reduction in the number of guests compared to the original booking, the total booking amount remains due, with no reductions for changes in the stay duration or guest number. Unused meals are non-refundable.

(**) Working days: Working days are considered 6 days per week, including Saturday.

COMMUNICATIONS: Cancellation requests are valid only if sent to Aleste Viaggi Srl in writing (letter, telegram, fax, or email). The date received by Aleste Viaggi Srl will be considered valid. Communications sent after 9:00 p.m. will be considered as received on the following day.

BOOKING CHANGES: All modification requests must be sent exclusively by email. Requests made through other channels will not be accepted. The modification fee is Euro 50, plus any additional costs related to changes in period or booked package.

FOOD INTOLERANCES AND ALLERGIES: Any food intolerances or allergies must be communicated at the time of booking. The property’s policies on this matter are indicated in the information sheets and on official websites. In case of late notifications, we will do our best to find alternative solutions; however, any additional costs or penalties charged by the property will remain the customer’s responsibility.

PAYMENT TERMS: Payment for the travel package must be made according to the methods and deadlines indicated at the time of booking. Failure to meet these deadlines will result in the cancellation of the reservation, with loss of any amounts paid.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is scheduled from 4:00 p.m.; check-out by 10:00 a.m.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be sent in electronic format 7 days before departure.
