Le Tonnare di Stintino is a charming and truly unique tourist resort, skillfully created through the renovation of an ancient tuna-processing plant that represented the beating heart of the town of Stintino since its origins in 1885, when fishermen from Asinara settled here following the establishment of the island prison. Set in a panoramic and exclusive position, the resort develops horizontally over a vast area of approximately 15 hectares, directly overlooking a stunning stretch of sea.

How to get there: Le Tonnare is 48 km from Alghero Airport and 155 km from Olbia Airport. The port of Olbia is 150 km away, Golfo Aranci port 174 km, and Porto Torres port 32 km.

Le Tonnare features 165 very spacious rooms, partly located in the two-storey main building and partly in the buildings surrounding the large swimming pool, all immersed in lush vegetation of oleanders and cacti.

Restaurants:
The buffet restaurant “La Terrazza” offers a wide selection of local and international cuisine, with grill and pizzeria. Our buffet service guarantees maximum freedom and creativity, allowing guests to combine flavors and portions according to their own taste. Every day we offer regional and international dishes, with a wide choice of appetizers, first and second courses, side dishes, authentic Italian pizza, fruit and desserts. Once a week, a special traditional Sardinian dinner is organized, where guests can enjoy the authentic flavors of local tradition. In addition, themed evenings add variety and fun to the dining experience.
At lunch and dinner, water and house white and red wine are always included. A selection of local and national wines is also available on request. For guests with food intolerances, basic gluten-free and lactose-free products are available, with mealtime assistance throughout the stay (absence of cross-contamination not guaranteed). For infants up to 3 years old, a fully equipped baby feeding area with essential infant products is available.

Bars:
The “Central Bar” is the heart of the resort during the day and in the evening, located just a few meters from the beach. The poolside snack bar offers refreshing drinks during pool opening hours.

Beach:
Located in front of the resort, the beach is made of sand and pebbles and is equipped with umbrellas, sun loungers and deck chairs, subject to availability. The famous beaches of “La Pelosa”, “Ezzi Mannu” and “Le Saline” are just a few kilometers away.

Entertainment:
Our experienced animation team enhances your stay by offering a wide range of free group sports activities, including group dances, water aerobics, yoga and pilates. In the evening, entertainment continues with shows, themed parties and dance evenings, ideal for entertaining adults and teenagers, with themed baby dance every night.

Mini & Junior Club:
Special attention is dedicated to our youngest guests. For children aged 3 to 12 years (provided they are toilet-trained), the Baby and Mini Club offers a personalized entertainment program with fun and sports activities at scheduled times. For teenagers aged 13 to 17, the Junior Club offers a weekly program dedicated exclusively to them, full of tailor-made fun and adventures.

Club Card:
(Mandatory from 3 years of age, payable from 12/06 to 11/09) includes: animation services, use of swimming pools, use of all sports and recreational facilities, beach service subject to availability, Mini Club and Junior Club, and Wi-Fi access in common areas.
Credit cards: Major credit cards are accepted. Wide range of excursion proposals available (extra, payable).

Pets:
One small pet per room is allowed (max 20 kg), with restrictions in common areas and a mandatory final sanitation fee.

Stays:
Rooms are available from 5:00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of departure.

Le Tonnare offers 165 very spacious rooms, partly located in the two-storey main building and partly in the buildings surrounding the large swimming pool, all set amidst lush vegetation of oleanders and cacti. Room types include Standard Rooms (for 2/3/4/5 guests) located on the ground floor or first floor, with a small patio or terrace; some are arranged over two levels, with a double bedroom and additional beds on an open mezzanine. All feature a comfortable private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Double and triple sea-view rooms are available on request.

Junior Suites (2/4 guests): spacious and comfortable rooms furnished in a traditional style, featuring two separate areas with one double bed and two single beds plus a small lounge. They are located on the ground floor and include a mezzanine leading to a large furnished terrace with private solarium, ideal for enjoying the Sardinian sun in relaxation and privacy. Comfortable private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. All rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, TV, telephone, safe and minibar (stocked on request).

Cancellation policy

BOOKING CONFIRMATION: Before confirming the reservation and making the payment, please verify the accuracy of all the details provided in the confirmation, paying special attention to the names, hotel services, start and end dates of the stay, and related transportation (airplane, bus, ferry).

IDENTITY DOCUMENTS: All passengers, including minors and infants, must possess a valid identity document.

CHILD DISCOUNTS: The booking confirmation includes the children’s dates of birth, specifying day, month, and year. Please check this information carefully. Correct birth dates are essential for applying discounts or free stays related to the children’s age. For example, if a child is free up to the age of eight but exceeds this age at the time of check-in, the standard rates will apply, and the difference will be charged.

PETS: Guests traveling with pets must report their presence at the time of booking so that this information can be included in the confirmation. Late notifications may result in penalties or management fees if the selected property does not allow pets.
Furthermore, for ferry travel, a pet on board supplement of Euro 35.00 applies, and pets are not allowed in cabins, which are available on request only. The pet cabin costs vary depending on the period and the ferry company.

FERRY TRAVEL: For trips departing by ferry, vehicle details (type, model, and license plate) will be shown directly on the booking confirmation and subsequently on the travel ticket. The ferry package includes:
• For daytime crossings: accommodation in deck passage for all routes.
• For overnight crossings: accommodation in reclining seat for all routes. Children up to 4 years old (infants) cannot occupy a seat.
• Round-trip vehicle transport (maximum length 5 meters; maximum height 2.20 m for Moby/Tirrenia and 1.90 m for GNV/Grimaldi). Exceeding these limits will incur supplements depending on the company.
• Cabin accommodation (if purchased): includes 4 beds; for families of 5 people, accommodation is provided with 4 beds in the cabin + 1 deck passage.
Please note that any communication or modification of vehicle details after the confirmation has been issued will result in a change fee of Euro 50.00, plus any reissue costs for the ticket.
Ferry companies, for technical, organizational, operational, or force majeure reasons, reserve the right to make changes to the ship schedules, including times, routes, and type of vessel used.
Such changes will be promptly communicated via SMS to the contact numbers provided at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE: The cancellation insurance is optional and subject to an extra fee. It must be requested at the time of booking and cannot be added later.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: Please note that any special requests indicated in the booking cannot be guaranteed, and telephone requests will not be considered.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BOOKINGS UNTIL 28/02:
Cancellations up to 30 working days before departure: no penalty
From 29 to 21 working days before departure: 25% of the total amount
From 20 to 11 working days before departure: 50%
From 10 to 3 working days before departure: 75%
From 2 to 0 days before departure: 100%

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BOOKINGS FROM 01/03:
Cancellations up to 30 working days before departure: 10% of the total amount
From 29 to 21 working days before departure: 25%
From 20 to 11 working days before departure: 50%
From 10 to 3 working days before departure: 75%
From 2 to 0 days before departure: 100%

For cancellations made within the terms indicated above, for the amounts not subject to penalty, a travel voucher will be issued, valid for 12 months from the date of issue, which does not require acceptance by the recipient.

In the event of late arrival, early departure, or a reduction in the number of guests compared to the original booking, the total booking amount remains due, with no reductions for changes in the stay duration or guest number. Unused meals are non-refundable.

(**) Working days: Working days are considered 6 days per week, including Saturday.

COMMUNICATIONS: Cancellation requests are valid only if sent to Aleste Viaggi Srl in writing (letter, telegram, fax, or email). The date received by Aleste Viaggi Srl will be considered valid. Communications sent after 9:00 p.m. will be considered as received on the following day.

BOOKING CHANGES: All modification requests must be sent exclusively by email. Requests made through other channels will not be accepted. The modification fee is Euro 50, plus any additional costs related to changes in period or booked package.

FOOD INTOLERANCES AND ALLERGIES: Any food intolerances or allergies must be communicated at the time of booking. The property’s policies on this matter are indicated in the information sheets and on official websites. In case of late notifications, we will do our best to find alternative solutions; however, any additional costs or penalties charged by the property will remain the customer’s responsibility.

PAYMENT TERMS: Payment for the travel package must be made according to the methods and deadlines indicated at the time of booking. Failure to meet these deadlines will result in the cancellation of the reservation, with loss of any amounts paid.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is scheduled from 4:00 p.m.; check-out by 10:00 a.m.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be sent in electronic format 7 days before departure.
